How it works: You only need ONE iPhone or ONE iPad in the childrens room. The app will send tweets which you can receive on every browser-capable device (smartphone/PC/Mac/iPad) using http://twitter.com or a Twitter-App. Both devices need only Edge E for the data transmission. Of course, 3G or WiFi work as well. The app will report your childs activities using Twitter regularly (interval configurable in the settings). The configuration of the app is wizard-based and super easy.

So far you dont have a Twitter account? Or you dont want to use your regular Twitter account? With iOS 5 and up you can comfortably create a new Twitter account directly with your iPhone/iPad: ==> Settings ==> Twitter.
